Zabiny Brno and Hradec Kralove won the first quarter-final Play-offs in Czech ZBL Women league

Zabiny Brno and Hradec Kralove won the first quarter-final Play-offs in the Czech ZBL Women league, winning unanimously versus Ostrava and Chomutov, respectively.

The women basketball team of Zabiny Brno (2nd after the regular season) won the match versus Ostrava (7th after the regular season) by 77-51 (19-18; 19-8; 21-7; 18-18) with Natalie Stoupalova performing best for the team with 20 pts and 5 rebs. Eliska Hamzova also was among the best players for the winners with 13 pts, 2 rebs, and 3 asts. For the team of Ostrava, the best player for the match was Nikolina Zubac with 17 pts and 8 rebs.

The women basketball team of Hradec Kralove (3rd after the regular season) also won the first quarter-final Play-offs versus Chomutov (6th after the regular season) by 80-52 (24-14; 20-8; 23-14; 13-16) with Kristyna Cuperkova performing best for the team with 20 pts, 3 rebs, and 1 asts. Andra Klaudova was also shining for the team of Hradec Kralove with 16 pts and 3 rebs. For the team of Chomutov, the best player was Tereza Vorlova with 12 pts and 5 rebs.

In the next quarter-final play-offs the leader from the regular season USK Prague will player versus Trutnov, while KP Brno will face Slavia Prague.
