The 2015 world figure skating champion and silver medalist of the 2021 world championship Elizaveta Tuktamysheva intends to participate in the next season and is ready to do everything to continue skating, revealed she after winning the women’s bronze medal at the final of the Russian Grand Prix series.
“I will continue to compete, we have plans for training camps in Kislovodsk, for a trip to Mexico, for additional camps. I will enter the season smoothly, and then we will see. Every season in Russia is also very interesting. I will do my best to keep driving”, said Elizaveta Tuktamysheva.
The 26-year-old Russian is the 2015 World champion, the 2021 World silver medalist, the 2015 European champion, the 2014–15 Grand Prix Final champion, a 14-time medalist in the Grand Prix series, and the 2013 Russian national champion. On the junior level, she is the 2012 Youth Olympic champion, 2011 World Junior silver medalist, and 2010–11 JGP Final silver medalist. Tuktamysheva is currently the world’s 3rd-highest-ranked women’s singles skater by the International Skating Union following the 2020–21 figure skating season.
