Sabina Altynbekova is a Kazakh volleyball player, who plays as an Outside Hitter. She had played in volleyball clubs in Japan, UAE, and Italy, as well as the youth national team of Kazakhstan.
Sabina Altynbekova was born on November 5, 1996, in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. She started playing volleyball in her home city and showed the skills of a professional player. She turned seriously to volleyball at the age of 14. She joined the youth team of Almaty.
Sabina Altynbekova was called for the 2014 Asia and Oceania Women’s U19 Volleyball Championship with the Kazakhstan national team. Although the Kazakhstan team finished the tournament in 7th place, she played very little.
However, she attracted the audience and volleyball specialists and in 2015 signed with the Japanese volleyball team GSS Tokyo Sunbeams to compete in the Japan V.League Division 3. She became the volleyball club’s first foreigner of the club and during her stay, they won the bronze medals in the division in 2015/2016 season.
In 2016, Sabina Altynbekova returned to her home volleyball club Almaty under loan and in 2017 signed a one-year contract with them. In the 2017/2018 season, the team finished 4th in the Kazakhstan League and 8th in the VTV9 – Binh Dien International Cup.
Sabina Altynbekova made a transfer to the UAE volleyball club Al Wasl in 2019, finishing 5th in the Arab Clubs Championship.
In 2020, she signed with the Italian club VolAlto 2.0 Caserta to play in the Italian Serie A2.
In 2021, she returned to the UAE and the team Al Wasl and became champion of the division in 2022/2023.
