Volero Le Cannet won a second consecutive title in the French League A

French women’s volleyball club Volero Le Cannet won a second consecutive title in the French League A. The Mladen Kasic-led team prevailed over ASPTT Mulhouse by 3-1 (15:25, 26:24, 26:24, 25:16) in the second leg match, played at the Palais de Sport in front of 4,000 spectators.

In the first final, Volero Le Cannet recorded success with the same result.

Thus, last year’s final was repeated, in which Volero Le Cannet outplayed the opponent, but with a 3-0 victory.

Bulgarian volleyball star Eva Yaneva scored 11 points (1 ace, 3 blocks, 33% offensive efficiency, 18% perfect and 82% positive reception – +3) and was awarded MVP.

The Russian Vita Akimova was again the top scorer with 29 points (3 aces, 4 blocks, 44% efficiency in attack – +23), while her compatriot Anna Kotikova added 16 points (2 aces).

For ASPTT Mulhouse, Christelle Tchoudjang-Nana finished with 22 points (4 blocks), while Helene Rousseaux-Feray scored 14 points (1 block) and Silke Van Avermaet added 11 points (1 ace).
