Viktoriya Tomova qualified for the semi-finals of the WTA 125 BBVA Open Internacional de Valencia

Viktoriya Tomova (Bulgaria) qualified for the semi-finals of the WTA 125 BBVA Open Internacional de Valencia clay tennis tournament with a prize fund of 100,000 EUR.

The top-seeded Bulgarian tennis player the 8th-seeded Darja Semenistaja (Latvia) by 2-0 (6:3, 6:1) in 72 minutes.

Viktoriya Tomova had quite harder task yesterday after making turnover from 1:4 to 7:5 in the first set and winning by 2-1 (7:5, 2:6, 6:1) in 1:55 hours her match versus Oksana Selekhmeteva (Russia).

In the semi-finals, Viktoriya Tomova will face the winner between Laura Pigossi (Brazil) and Iryna Shymanovich (Russia).

The other quarter-finals today at the WTA 125 BBVA Open Internacional de Valencia tournament are Elvina Kalieva (USA) versus Ann Li (USA) and second-seeded Jessica Bouzas Maneiro (Spain) versus Marina Bassols (Spain).
