Top seeds Iga Swiatek and Jessica Pegula advanced to the quarter-finals of the WTA 500 Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis

The top-seeded Iga Swiatek (Poland) qualified for the quarter-finals of the hard court tennis tournament WTA 500 Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis in Tokyo, Japan, with a prize pool of $780,637. The second-seeded Jessica Pegula (USA) also qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating Cristina Bucsa (Spain) by 2-0 (6:1, 6:2).
