Tijana Boskovic was awarded MVP of the Women’s Volleyball World Championships

Just four years after winning her first Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at the 2018 World Cup, Serbian volleyball player Tijana Boskovic received the award once again.

Team Serbia triumphed for the second time with the title after beating Brazil 3-0 in the grand final.

The team deserved three more individual awards – for the best setter, for the best diagonal (again Tijana Boskovic), as well as for the best libero.

The silver medalists from Brazil and the bronze medalists Italy took two awards each.

Ideal World Cup 2022 squad:
Best Settler: Bojana Drca (Serbia)
Best Diagonal: Tijana Boskovic (Serbia)
Best Hitter: Gabriela Guimaraes (Brazil) and Miriam Sylla (Italy)
Best center: Ana Carolina da Silva (Brazil) and Anna Danesi (Italy)
Best libero: Teodora Pusic (Serbia)
