The US team beat Canada by 3-0 (25:19, 26:24, 25:15) in a Group C match played in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
The American women are at the top of the standings with 6 points (2 successes), while the Canadian team is fifth with 0 points.
Ali Frantti was the most valuable player for the US team with 15 points (1 block), while Andrea Drews finished with 14 points (2 aces, 1 block).
For Canada, Kiera Van Ryk finished with 15 points.
