The fourth-seeded Caroline Garcia is out of the WTA 1000 Dubai Tennis Championships

Madison Keys eliminated the fourth-seeded Caroline Garcia (France) from the WTA 1000 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships after defeated her in the second round by 2-0 (7:5, 6:4) in 1:49 hours.

Madison Keys achieved two breaks against one for her opponent in the first set. She did the second break in the 11th game, which gave her a strong opportunity and two set points to close the set. She did not missed it and succeeded to win by 7:5.

Madison Keys achieved another break in the third game of the second set, which gave her the advantage she kept to the end of the set and close it by 6:4. Thus, the fourth-seeded and world’s No 5 Caroline Garcia lost and will leave the WTA 1000 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

Barbora Krejcikova (Czech Republic) brought another surprise at the tournament, eliminating the 7th-seeded Russian player Daria Kasatkina (Russia) by 2-1 (6:4, 4:6, 7:5).

Karolina Pliskova (Czech Republic) defeated the 6th-seeded Maria Sakkari (Greece) by 2-0 (6:1, 6:2) and in the third round will face Anhelina Kalinina (Ukraine), who defeated her compatriot Dayana Yastremska by 2-1 (5:7, 6:2, 6:3).
