Thai golfer Arpichaya Yubol won the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games individual gold after strong last day of the competition. She finished the event by par -19, just two hole ahead of her Indian opponent Aditi Ashok, who was a convincing leader before the last day, but made too many mistakes to lose the gold and remained with the silver
The bronze went to Hyunjo Yoo (South Korea), who finished with par -16, who climbed six positions in the last day of the competition, but missed the silver just for a while.
The Top 5 in the competition was completed by Xiyu Lin (China) with par -13 and Patcharajutar Kongkraphan (Thailand) with par -12.
In the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games team competition, the gold went to the Thailand’s team of Eila Galitsky, Patcharajutar Kongkraphan and Arpichaya Yubol, finishing with par -34. The South Korean team of Hyunjo Yoo, Jiyoo Lim and Minsol Kim remained with the silver, finishing in par -28, while Chinese team remained with the bronze to complete the top three.
