The US sprinters continue dominating the track and field at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest after the women’s 4x100m relay earned the gold. The Team US, consisted of Tamari Davis, Twanisha Terry, Gabrielle Thomas and Sha’Carri Richardson won the 4x100m gold with a new championship record of 41.03 sec.
Sha’Carri Richardson will remember her debut at the world championships with great achievements, winning the 100m and 4x100m relay titles, as well as the bronze in the 200m.
Jamaican team (Natasha Morrison, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Sashalee Forbes and Shericka Jackson) won the silver medals with 41.21 sec. The bronze medals went to the Team great Britain (Asha Philip, Imani Lansiquot, Bianca Wlliams, Daryll Neita), who finished in 41.97 seconds.
The United States in leader in medals with their athletes won total of 29 honors (12 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze).
