World and three-time European wrestling champion Taybe Yusein drops the category for the Grand Prix tournament in Zagreb, which is the first ranking of the season (February 1-5).
The captain of the Bulgarian national team will wrestle in the 62kg category, in which she became the No 1 in Europe and the world. At the first two competitions of the year – the state championship and the “Henri Deglain” tournament in France, she triumphed in the 65kg category.
In the 62kg category, there will be two more Bulgarian women – Mimi Hristova, who made her debut in the lighter category this season, and in the two competitions so far came second, as well as Bilyana Dudova, who became the champion of Bulgaria in January.
The women will be led by national coach Petar Kasabov and Serafim Burzakov, two-time world and 4-time European champion.
