Suzanne Schulting and Xandra Velzeboer set two WR during the World Short Track Cup in Salt Lake City

Dutch short-track speed skaters Suzanne Schulting and Xandra Velzeboer set two world records during the World Short Track Cup in Salt Lake City (USA).

In the fifth preliminary series of 1,000m, Suzanne Schulting recorded 1:25.958 min and improved his own record, set at the Beijing 2022 Olympics – 1:26.514 min.

At the 500m sprint series, Xandra Velzeboer reached 41.416 sec. So she broke the record of 41.936 seconds set by Canadian Kim Boutin on the same track in 2019.

The 24-year-old Suzanne Schulting is a three-time Olympic and seven-time world champion, silver and two-time bronze medalist from the Pionchang 2018 and Beijing 2022 Olympics.

Xandra Velzeboer is 21 years old, at the Beijing Olympics, she won a gold medal in the relay and is a two-time world champion 500m and the relay of the Netherlands.
