The football team of South Korea is the first finalist at the Women’s Asian Cup after a 2-0 win versus the Philippines. In the final, they will face the winner between China and Japan.
The team of South Korea was the favorite in the match and they dominated from the very beginning. So-Hyun Cho scored already in the 4th minute after the assistance of Hye-Ri Kim. Thirty minutes later, Hyo-Joo Choo passed to Hwa-Yeon Son, who scored for 2-0 and gave the win to her team.
By the end of the match, the team of the Philippines tried several times to score, but the South Korean goalkeeper Jung-Mi Kim was stable and kept her clean sheet.
South Korea is on the final of the Women’s Asian Cup, where will face the winner between China and Japan. The final match is on February 6th.
