Slovenia beat Serbia by 27-24 at the European Women’s Handball Championship in a match played in Tsele. The hosts made a turn after the break, as in the first part Serbia led by 15-13.

In Group B, Sweden lost to Denmark by 23-25 (5-13) after a nightmare first half in Tsele but still ended in first place with 4 points. The Danes are also second with 4 points, and the host of Slovenia remained third again with 4 points.
For Sweden, the top scorer was Tyra Axner with 9 goals, while Elin Hansson added 6 goals. Emma Friis shined for Denmark with 9 goals, which helped for the success.
