Simone Biles plans a tour for millions after the Olympics

On Monday, Simone Biles broke her own record by winning her 11th Olympic medal – this time a silver on floor – and is far ahead of her rivals in the race to become the most successful American gymnast in Olympic history.

Simone Biles hinted that she could compete at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, but the 27-year-old star said she was “getting old”. And while she doesn’t like to be asked what she’s going to do immediately after winning an Olympic medal, it turns out she’s planning a major American tour that will net her millions.

It’s the 2024 Gold Over America Tour, which has a chance to rank among the most successful live events in the United States of the year, with 30 dates planned, the tour kicks off in September and will delight fans from Los Angeles to Boston.

Simone Biles, who organized these events with the USA Gymnastics, was the big star of the 2021 “Gold Over America Tour” and was instrumental in choosing the music, lighting, video layout and even the costumes of the participants. In 2021, the tour featured only female gymnasts, including from Canada and France, and despite the coronavirus restrictions, organizers reported revenues of 19.3 million USD and 182,000 tickets sold in 32 cities, and now predictions are for much greater financial success. Gymnasts will also participate in the tour, but Biles will be the big star. She has already publicly endorsed show producer Lee Marshall’s idea to turn “Gold Over America” into a permanent show that will be active beyond the Olympic years.
