The Dutch athletics star Sifan Hassan has set herself an extremely ambitious goal at the Paris 2024 Olympics that will push her strength to the limit. The representative of the Netherlands will participate in three disciplines on the track plus a marathon. Sifan Hassan started in three events and in Tokyo 2021, when she won the 5,000m and 10,000m titles and bronze in the 1,500m.
The 31-year-old Dutch athlete has decided to add the marathon to her program and is expected to complete around 65 km of competitive runs over the course of 9 days. This is how her program is structured during the Olympics:

August 5 – 5,000m final
August 6 – 1,500m series
August 8 – 1,500m semi-final
August 9 – 10,000m final
August 10 – 1,500m final
August 11 – Marathon
