Multiple Olympic and World sprint medalist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will delight her fans in Kenya after announcing she will compete in the Kip Keino Classic in Nairobi on May 13. The Jamaican athlete, who is a five-time world champion in the 100m, loves the fans in Kenya, the good music, and the fast track.
“I will perform strongly in Nairobi and expect a faster time than what I achieved last year”, commented Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.
The Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympic 100m champion urged her Kenyan fans to grab the best seats in the stadium to witness her best show on the continent.
“I will definitely be back in Nairobi. Last year was great, fantastic. The stadium was just filled with so much excitement, cheering and music. It was so much fun, but I expect more from it. Let everyone be ready to see me run fast, so get your tickets ready and be in the stands, have fun”, added the Jamaican sprinter, who will be warming up for this tournament starting in Botswana on April 29.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is a Jamaican track and field sprinter competing in the 60m, 100m and 200m. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest sprinters of all time.
