Bahamian athlete Shaunae Miller-Uibo defended her Olympic title in the women’s 400m. The athlete covered the distance in 48.36 seconds and doubled her first place at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
Shaunae Miller-Uibo, 27, has won a total of four silver and bronze medals at world championships.
Marileidy Paulino came in second. The representative of the Dominican Republic finished in 49.20 seconds. Marileidy Paulino won a second silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics. It was part of the mixed 4x400m relay.
Allyson Felix remained in third place in the final standings with a time of 49.46 seconds. The 35-year-old American won a total of tenth Olympic medals in her glamorous career. Allyson Felix equaled Carl Lewis in the number of Olympic medals won, which is a record for the United States in athletics.
Allyson Felix is a six-time Olympic champion in the 200m, 4x200m relay 4x400m relay.
