Serbian women’s national volleyball players received bonuses for the World Cup title

The women’s volleyball players of Serbia and the coach of the team, Daniele Santarelli, will each receive 30,000 EUR bonus for winning the world title. The Serbian women defended their title at the 2022 World Cup in the Netherlands and Poland after beating Brazil 3-0 in the final.

the bonus was approved by the Serbian government. The monetary prizes are awarded with the aim of strengthening the sport and preparing volleyball players to achieve even better results, the official announcement says.

Serbia won the world title for the second time in a row. The Serbian national team did this after 12 wins from 12 games. Tijana Boskovic was awarded MVP of the Women’s Volleyball World Championships, while the team deserved three more individual awards – for the best setter, for the best diagonal (again Tijana Boskovic), as well as for the best libero.
