Sara Sakradzija is a Serbian volleyball player, who plays as an Outside Hitter for Kazakstani club Altay VC. She was awarded the Best Outside Hitter in the Serbian Cup 2016/2017, as well as Swiss League, Kazakhstan League, and Serbian Prva Liga champion, as well as Serbian SuperCup, and Swiss Supercup holder.
Sara Sakradzija was born on March 5, 1994. She started in volleyball at an early age and showed great talent. As a junior, she played for the OK Klek Srbijasume.
Sara Sakradzija started her professional volleyball career in 2010 for the Swiss team Volero Zurich, making a treble, and won the Swiss League, Swiss Cup, and Swiss Supercup, as well as Top Volley International. Her team also played in the Champions League and finished 5th. By the end of the season, she moved to Serbia and played for ZOK Vojvodina, where finished the season as the Serbian champion.
In 2011, Sara Sakradzija returned to her youth club OK Klek Srbijasume, playing in the Serbian Prva Liga and Serbian Cup, but her team did not achieve big success. On the next season, she played for AS Monaco, before returning to Serbia again.
In 2013, Sara Sakradzija signed to Jedinstvo Stara Pazova. In her maiden season with the team, she won the bronze at the Serbian Cup. In 2014, she continued playing for the team, playing also at the Challenge Cup. In the 2015/2016 season, Sara Sakradzija and Jedinstvo Stara Pazova won the silver at the Serbian Superleague and Serbian Cup, as well as played again at the Challenge Cup. In 2016/2017 season, Jedinstvo Stara Pazova made a double winning the Serbian Cup, where Sara Sakradzija was awarded the Best outside hitter, and Serbian SuperCup, finished second in the Serbian Superleague and also played in the CEV Cup.
In 2017, she signed to the French volleyball club Le Cannet Volley Ball, playing in the French Ligue A, Champions League, and CEV Cup. Meanwhile, her team won the bronze at the French Cup.
Sara Sakradzija moved to Turkey in 2018, signing with Halkbank Ankara. She played at the Turkiye Kadınlar Voleybol Ligi, but at the end of the season moved to Poland and signed for E.Leclerc Radomka Radom to play at the TAURON Liga. Unfortunately, both teams she played during the 2018/2019 season did not achieve significant success at the local leagues.
In 2019, Sara Sakradzija signed with the French volleyball club Pays d’Aix Venelles, winning the French Cup. However, the French Ligue A was canceled.
Sara Sakradzija returned to Le Cannet Volley Ball in 2020, finishing 4th at the French Ligue A and 9th at the French Cup. her team also played in the CEV Cup, where finished 9th as well.
In 2021, Sara Sakradzija moved to Romania to play at the CSM Lugoj. During the season her team finished 5th at the Romanian League and the Romanian Cup, as well as 5th at the Challenge Cup.
In 2022, Sara Sakradzija signed with Altay VC in Kazakstan, which is her current club, winning a double – Kazakhstan Cup and Kazakhstan League. Her team also played at the Asian Club Championship, finishing 6th.
