Milica Tasic is a Serbian volleyball player, who plays as an Outside Hitter for the Turkish volleyball club Merinos SK and the Serbian national team. She is a silver medalist at the European Championships U18 and European Youth Olympic Festival in 2015.
Milica Tasic was born on December 24, 1999, in Beograd, Serbia. She graduated from the Sports High School in the city, where proved her great talent in volleyball. She was part of the youth national team and won the silver at the 2015 European Championships.
Milica Tasic started her professional career in 2014 for the Serbian team Crvena Zvezda. In her maiden season with the club, she earned the bronze at the Serbian Cup and the Serbian Superleague, but also finished as the runner-up at the Serbian SuperCup and played in CEV Cup. During the season she was called for Serbia U18 national volleyball team and won the silver at the European Championships U18 and European Youth Olympic Festival, as well as played at the World Championships U19. The next season her team again repeated the success of playing in the CEV Cup and earning the bronze at the Serbian Cup, but after that followed a season of moderate success being out of the Top 3 Serbian volleyball teams. In the 2017/2018 season, Milica Tasic and Crvena Zvezda returned on the winning path and earned silver at the Serbian Cup and the Serbian Superleague, while the next season earned bronze at the Serbian Superleague and silver at the Serbian Cup.
In 2020, Milica Tasic moved to the United States to attend to Nevada Las Vegas University, playing at the NCAA. In her maiden season with the university team, she won the NCAA Mountain West Conference and qualified for the NCAA championship, where finished 17th. In the second season, she won the title at the NCAA – Mountain West Conference and NIVC.
Milica Tasic returned to Europe in 2022 and signed with Romanian volleyball club Dinamo Bucuresti. In her only season with the club, they finished 5th at the Romanian League and earned the bronze at the Romanian Cup. However, during the season the team was the runner-up at the BVA Cup.
In 2023, Milica Tasic signed with Merinos SK to play at the Turkiye Kadinlar Voleybol 1. Ligi.
Milica Tasic is one of the most talented Serbian volleyball players and will be part of the national team’s future achievements.
