Serbia women’s volleyball team continues defending of its title at Eurovolley 2021

The reigning European volleyball champion Serbia continues to successfully defend its title at Eurovolley 2021. The girls of Zoran Terzic defeated Hungary with 3-0 (25:20, 25:19, 25:17) in a match from the Round of 16, played this evening in front of over 6,300 spectators in the Stark Arena in Belgrade.

Thus, the Serbian team continues to the quarterfinals, where it will face the team of France, which, a little surprisingly, defeated Croatia with a 3-2. The quarterfinal clash between Serbia and France is on Wednesday (September 1st).

Above all for Serbia was again the star Tijana Boskovic with a great 19 points (2 blocks and 57% efficiency in attack) for the victory.

For the Hungarian team, Anett Nemeth scored 14 points (1 block, 2 aces, and 46% efficiency in attack).
