Serbia smashed Greece by 4-0 in the second match of the Group 3 from the UEFA Women’s Nations League B. Miljana Ivanovic (16′ and 44′) and Jovana Damnjanovic (32′ and 52′) scored twice each for the success of the hosts.
The Serbian women’s national team started better the match and dictated it from the very beginning. The first goal came in the 16th minute by Miljana Ivanovic after an assistance of Allegra Poljak. Jovana Damnjanovic and again Miljana Ivanovic scored again for the 3-0 at the half-time. Jovana Damnjanovic formed the final 4-0 in the 52nd minute after a pass by Jelena Cankovic.
In the other match from the group Poland took the victory versus Ukraine by 2-1. two goals of Ewa Pajor in 22nd and 67th minutes gave a lead for the Polish women’s national team, but Lyubov Shmatko returned one goal in the 80th minute, keeping the intrigue by the end of the match
Serbia and Poland are on the top of the group with 6 points, while Ukraine and Greece are poiintless.
In the other matches from the UEFA Women’s Nations League B, Czech Republic won their match versus Belarus a by 2-1 with Katerina Kotrcova (28′) and Klara Cahynova (33′) scoring for the winners and Viktoriya Valyuk (55′) being accurate for Belarus.
Romania lost at home to Finalnd by 0-1 after a goal by Evelina Summanen in the 17th minutes, while Slovakia smashed by 4-0 Croatia after a hattrick by Patricia Hmirova (24′, 60′, and 73′) and one goal by Tamara Moravkova (34′).
Northern Ireland defeated Albania by 1-0, while Hungary lost to the Republic of Ireland by 0-4 and Bosnia & Herzegovina and Slovenia made a 1-1 draw.
