The women’s volleyball team of Serbia continue their excellent performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics qualifications after defeating Canada by 3-0 (25:19, 25:17, 25:21) and keeping their unbeaten record with 3 wins without losing a game.
Serbia dominated in its attack (45-32) and serving points (8-1) and had the edge over Canada in blocking points (9-7).
Tijana Boskovic was again the top for Serbia, scoring with 25 points, including four aces. For Canada Alexa Gray, Kiera Van Ryk and Hilary Howe only scored 9 points each.
In the other match from the group, the Dominican Republic defeated Ukraine by 3-0 (25:17, 25:21, 31:29).
Serbia is a leader in the group with 9 points, followed by China with 6 points, but one match less, and the Dominican Republic again with 6 points.
In the other group, the European volleyball champion and the Nations League winner Turkey defeated Peru by 3-1 (25:18, 25:27, 25:17, 29:27). Meanwhile, Argentina smashed Belgium by 3-0 (25:21, 25:20, 25:18).
Turkey is the leader in the group with 9 points of 3 matches, followed by Japan and Brazil with 6 points, but both with a match less.
