Serbia qualified for the semi-finals of the Women’s League of Nations

Serbian women’s national volleyball team has qualified for the semi-finals of this year’s edition of the League of Nations.

The team led by Daniele Santarelli defeated the three-time champion USA by 3-2 (29:27, 25:23, 20:25, 20:25, 15:13) in the second quarter-final of the competition played in Ankara.

Thus, on July 16 (Saturday), the Serbian women’s national volleyball team meet Brazil, which eliminated Japan with a 3-1 in the first quarter-final match.

The best result for the erbian team was Sara Lozo with 22 points (3 aces, 4 blocks), Ana Bjelica added 20 points (3 blocks).

For the USA, Kelsey Robinson finished with 21 points (4 blocks), while Alexandra Annelise “Ali” Frantti had 16 points (2 blocks).
