Sepsi SIC and Satu Mare will play on the final of Romania’s Liga National Women basketball playoff. Both team won the semifinals by 3-0 without giving a chance of their opponents and proved that are the best women basketball teams in the country.
Sepsi SIC won the third leg versus Olimpia Brasov as a visitor by 48-78 (15-16; 8-15; 13-21; 12-26). Thus with three wins, the team qualified for the finals. The American Rebekah Gardner was the most valuable player of Sepsi SIC with 29 pts, 7 rebs, and 2 asts. The Greek player Pinelopi Pavlopoulou also performed well with 12 pts and 1 ast.

Satu Mare won the third leg of the seminals versus FCC ICIM Arad as a visitor by 61-77 (22-20; 13-19; 15-25; 11-13). Claudia Cuic was the best for Satu Mare with 30 pts, 9 rebs, and 1 ast. Patricia Bright added 15 pts and 11 rebs for the victory.
