Safina Sadullayeva won the high jump gold at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games

The Uzbekistani athletes triumphed at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games high jump event, as Safina Sadullayeva earned the gold and Svetlana Radzivil won the silver. Both athletes covered the height of 186cm, but after Safina Sadullaeva covered the level at the first attempt, while the three-time Asian Games champion Svetlana Radzivil achieved it from the second. Thus, the title went to Safina Sadullaeva.

Kazakhstani athlete and Asian Games record holder Nadezhda Dubovitskaya won the bronze again with 186 cm, but achieved from the third attempt.

All the three medalists made an attempts on 189 cm, but unfortunately none of them covered it.

Another Kazakhstani athlete, Kristina Ovchinnikova, remained fourth with 183 cm, while Wai Yan Chung (Hong Kong) was fifth with 180 cm.

Meanwhile, Rani Annu (india) earned the Women’s Javelin Throw gold with 62.92m. The silver in the event went to Nadeesha Dilhan Hatarabage Lekamge (Sri Lanka) with 61.57m and the bronze was for Huihui Lyu (China) with 61.29m.
