Angelina Lazarenko is a Russian volleyball player, who plays as a Middle-blocker for the local club Dinamo-Ak Bars and the Russian national team. She is Women FIVB World Cup bronze medalist and Women World Championships U20 silver medalist with the Russian national team, as well as Women Club World Championship and Challenge Cup bronze medalist. She was awarded the MVP of the Russian SuperCup 2022/2023.
Angelina Lazarenko was born on April 13, 1998, in Saratov, Russia. After moving to Moscow at the age of 12, she began playing volleyball at the sports school of the Olympic Reserve No. 21 in Moscow. She trained in the youth team Fakel.
Angelina Lazarenko started her professional career in 2013 for Fakel Novy Urengoy, playing in the Russian Superleague. She quickly showed her talent and proved to be one of the regular players in the club. In her maiden season, her team earned the bronze at the Cup of Siberia and Far East and finished 8th in the Russian Superleague and Russian Cup. In 2014, she also debuted for the youth national team, called for European Championships U19, finishing 7th.
In 2014, she signed to Luch Moscow to gain experience at the Russian Vischaya Liga B. With the national team, she earned the gold at the European Championships U18 2015 and World Championships U19 2015, as well as playing at the World Championships U20 2015 and European Youth Olympic Festival 2015. She was awarded the MVP, Best middle-blocker and Best spiker at the European Championships U18 2015.
In 2015, Angelina Lazarenko signed to Zarechie Odintsovo, returning to play again in the Russian Superleague. With her next team she debuted in the Challenge Cup, where earned the bronze. With the national team, Angelina Lazarenko won the titles at the European Championships U19 2016, where was awarded the Best middle-blocker, and FISU World University Games 2017, as well as the silver at the World Championships U20 2017. She was awarded the Best blocker and the Best server at the Russian Superleague 2016/2017.
Angelina Lazarenko signed to Volero Zurich in 2017 to play for the Swiss League. In the only season she played with the team they made treble, winning the Swiss League, Swiss Cup, and the Swiss Supercup. Her team also earned the bronze at the Club World Championship 2017/2018 and finished 5th at the Champions League.
In 2018, Angelina Lazarenko signed to Volero Le Cannet to play at the French Ligue A. Her volleyball club earned the bronze at the Challenge Cup and finished 6th at the Club World Championship, as well as 4th at the French Ligue A. During the season, she earned the bronze with the Russian national team at the FIVB World Cup 2019 and also competed at the Volleyball Nations League 2019 and European Championships 2019.
In 2019, Angelina Lazarenko returned to Russian and signed to the Dinamo Krasnodar. She played with the club two season, winning the title at the Cup of the Governor of the Kaliningrad region 2019/2020 and the silver at the Cup of the Governor of the Tula region 2020/2021, as well as the bronze at the Russian Cup 2020/2021. She was awarded the Best blocker and Best middle-blocker at the Russian Superleague 2019/2020, as well as Best blocker at the Russian Superleague 2020/2021 and the Best middle-blocker and the Best blocker at the Russian Cup 2020/2021.
Angelina Lazarenko signed to her current team Dinamo-Ak Bars in 2021. In her maiden season with the club, they won the Russian Cup, finished 4th at the Russian Superleague, and 5th at the Champions League. In the next season, the team won the Russian SuperCup, where was awarded the MVP, but finished 5th in the Russian Cup and the Russian Superleague.
