Rosengard qualified for the quarter-finals of Europe Champions League Women after an away win versus Austrian St. Polten. The Swedish had a very complicated draw of 2-2 in the first match at home, but played very well tactically the second one and qualified after an aggregate score of 4-2.

Rosengard started the match depending mostly on the counter-attacks. The hosts of St. Polten tried to keep pressure and score an early goal but were surprised after Emma Berglund scored in the 26th minute with the assistance of Caroline Seger. The goal for Rosengard definitely changed the game and gave a psychological advantage for the guests. The Swedish women kept their tactics playing on counter-attacks and were very careful in defense.

The goal of the guests caused dislocation for St. Polten. This reflected in their gameplay and they lost control of the match. In the 42tnd minute of the first half, Mimmi Larsson scored the second goal for Rosengard and put them in a quite comfortable position.

The second half started with strong possession of the Austrian St. Polten. During the whole time, they attacked and tried to return to the match, but without serious success. However, The players of St. Polten had 7 goal attempts and 3 dangerous shots on goal. However, till the end of the match, they did not succeed to score and at full time it ended at 0-2.

Thus, with an aggregate score of 4-2, Rosengard qualified for the quarter-finals of the Europe Champions League Women
