Rosengard qualified for the quarter-finals of Europe Champions League Women after an away win versus Austrian St. Polten. The Swedish had a very complicated draw of 2-2 in the first match at home, but played very well tactically the second one and qualified after an aggregate score of 4-2.
Rosengard started the match depending mostly on the counter-attacks. The hosts of St. Polten tried to keep pressure and score an early goal but were surprised after Emma Berglund scored in the 26th minute with the assistance of Caroline Seger.
