Reetta Hurske improved Finland’s national record at 60m hurdles

The 27-year-old Finish athlete until now held the record of her country with 7.81 sec from 2023, but yesterday she went below 7.8 sec for the first time in the discipline – 7.79 sec.

“This winter is going better than I expected at the beginning of the year. The big difference from the previous two years is that I have been healthy all winter”, said Reetta Hurske after her victory.

World indoor champion Cyrena Samba-Mayela (France) finished second with 7.84 see, and two-time European indoor champion Nadine Visser (Netherlands) came third with 7.86 sec.
