The top-seeded Chinese tennis player won her semi-final match over 4th-seeded Diane Parry (France) by 2-0 (7:5, 6:4). The match lasted 1:39 hours. Qinwen Zheng has not lost a set since the beginning of the tournament and won in straight-set all her matches so far.
The season is strong for Qinwen Zheng, who in the beginning of the season reached the final of the Australian Open, losing to Aryna Sabalenka in two sets.
