Polish athlete Adrianna Sulek won the pentathlon competition in Tallinn

The Polish athlete Adrianna Sulek improved the season’s best in the pentathlon of the weekend’s competition in Tallinn.

Only one point separated the first two in the pentathlon, as Adrianna Sulek improved her personal best to 4,598 points for a victory over Britain’s Holly Mills, who also set a personal record with a score of 4,597 points. This achievement adds 29 points to the previous world lead that Adrianna Sulek put in Obier last weekend. Ukraine’s Yuliya Loban finished third in Tallinn with 4,482 points.

In the pentathlon, Holly Mills started the strongest in the 60m, setting a personal record of 8.17 seconds, while Adrianna Sulek ran 8.41 sec. The Polish athlete was ahead after the high jump thanks to her personal record of 1.87m, while Holly Mills jumped 1.72m after feeling discomfort in his knee.

Yuliya Loban took the lead in the cannonball with 14.75 m, Holly Mills with 13.10 m and Adrianna Sulek with 12.53 m. The Polish athlete recorded 6.15m in the long jump. Then Holly Mills passed the fastest in the 800 m with 2:12.54 minutes, while Adrianna Sulek achieved 2:14.32 minutes to win the race by one point.
