Petra Kvitova withdrew from the WTA 500 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix clay tournament in Stuttgart

Two-time Grand Slam champion Petra Kvitova has withdrawn from the WTA 500 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix clay tournament in Stuttgart, which starts today. The 33-year-old Czech tennis player said she has a leg injury and will not be able to participate in the competition, which she won in 2019. Petra Kvitova is a Czech professional tennis player. Known for her powerful left-handed groundstrokes and variety, she has won 30 career singles titles, including two major titles at Wimbledon in 2011 and in 2014. She also won a bronze medal in singles while representing the Czech Republic at the Rio 2016 Olympics. Her career-high ranking of world No 2 was achieved on October 31, 2011.
