Ons Jabeur vs Diana Shnaider in the final of the WTA 250 Ningbo Open

The top-seeded Ons Jabeur (Tunisia) and the Russian tennis talent Diana Shnaider will play in the final of the hard court tennis tournament WTA 250 Ningbo Open with a prize pool of 259,303 USD.

The Wimbledon runner-up Ons Jabeur defeated Nadia Podoroska (Argentina) by 2-1 (6:3, 1:6, 6:2) and will play the final for the third time this season, after winning the fourth title of her career in April at the WTA 500 Credit One Charleston Open.

The Tunisian tennis player, currently world’s No 7, will face the Russian teenager Diana Shnaider, who defeated Linda Fruhvirtova (Czech Republic) by 2-0 (6:4, 6:1).

For the 19-year-old left-handed Diana Shnaider, who is world’s No 85, this will be the first WTA Tour final.
