Ons Jabeur is untoppable and qualified for the semis of the WTA 500 Adelaide International

Top-seeded Ons Jabeur defeated Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk and qualified for the semi-finals of the WTA 500 Adelaide International. The Tunisian player won the match by 2-0 (7:6, 7:5) in almost 2 hours.

Ons Jabeur was better on the first serve, which was the key for her success, which case quite hard.

The first set started with an early break for Marta Kostyuk, who took a lead of 0:3. However, Ons Jabeur succeeded to return in the match and equalized to 4:4. Both tennis players won their serve games by the end of the set and moved to a tiebreak, which was quite disputed and finally went in favor of the Tunisian.

The second set started with an exchange of breaks, as both players lost their serve games in the first six games. At 5:4, Ons Jabeur had a match point but missed it. At 6:5, Marta Kostyuk was serving to stay in the match, but the Tunisian tennis player did not missed her second chance to close the match and broke her, winning the set by 7:5.

In the semi-finals, Ons Jabeur will face Linda Noskova (Czech Republic), who defeated Victoria Azarenka (Belarus) by 2-1 (6:4, 6:7, 7:6).
