American pole vaulter Katie Nageotte will return to Lieven on February 17. She won the race in the French city in 2019 with 4.62 m, and last year triumphed with the Olympic title in Tokyo with 4.90 m.
She was also a finalist at the 2019 Doha World Championships and the 2018 Birmingham Indoor Planetary Forum. Katie Nageotte has a personal record of 4.95 m set when she won the US title last year. She ranks fourth in the eternal world rankings of the discipline.
In Lieven, the American will face world champion Anzhelika Sidorova, who secured Olympic silver in Tokyo and silver in the 2018 World Championships. With a personal record of 5.01 m, Anzhelika Sidorova is second in the world list for all time.
