Olympiakos had no problems versus ASC Sepsi-SIC at the start of the Women’s Basketball Euroleague qualifications

The Greek women’s basketball team Olympiakos had no problems versus the Romanian ASC Sepsi-SIC in the first match of qualifying group “A” for entry in the Women’s Basketball Euroleague. The Greek players won by 73:54 (20:15, 19:16, 19:8, 15:15) in the match played in Belgrade (Serbia).

Olympiakos led by 39:31 at the break, and before the last 10 minutes the lead of the Greek team was 58:39. The biggest difference in the match reached 26 points.

Maria Jespersen was the top scorer for ASC Sepsi-SIC with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Bulgarian Boryana Hristova finished with 7 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist.

Megan Gustafson scored 31 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 assists for Olympiakos.

The third team in qualifying group “A” is Serbian Red Star, who will face ASC Sepsi-SIC tonight. The competition takes place over three days, with only the top seed qualifying for the FIBA ​​Euroleague groups.
