Norway won the women’s 4x6km relay at the Hochfilzen Biathlon World Cup

Norway won the women’s 4x6km relay at the Biathlon World Cup in Austria’s Hochfilzen Winter Centre. The strong legs by Karoline Offigstad Knotten and anchor Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold secured victory for the Norwegian team.

Juni Arnekleiv, Marit Ishol Skogan, Karoline Offigstad Knotten and Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold covered the distance in 1:07:39.0 hours with six extra shots and no penalty lap. This is the second success for the team in this discipline since the beginning of the season.

In second place is Sweden’s team, at 31.6 seconds with ten extra shots, and in third place is France with a passive time of 1.01.5 minutes with one penalty lap and eight extra shots.

Italy, Germany and Austria are also in the top six.

The third round of the Biathlon World Cup will be held from December 14 to 17 in Lenzerheide (Switzerland).
