Brazilian mixed martial artist Norma Dumont defeated Chelsea Chandler via unanimous decision at the main card women’s fight of the UFC Vegas 77.
The Brazilian fighter could have potentially scored a first-round finish, but instead fought with her opponent the whole three rounds in the Octagon. After the first round attack by Norma Dumont, Chelsea Chandler tried to avoid more hit by her opponent. Unfortunately for her, things never got much better as she continued to get the worst of exchanges throughout the fight as Norma Dumont also took her to the ground at will.
When the fight was over, all three judges scored it 30-27 for Norma Dumont, who picked up her third straight win while moving her overall UFC record to 6-2-0 (W-L-D) and the overall professional MMA record to 10-2-0 (W-L-D).
On the other hand, Chelsea Chandler recorded her first loss at the UFC after in her debut (in October 2022) she defeated Julija Stoliarenko by TKO in the first round, which earned her the Performance of the Night award.
