Nina Kennedy won the Diamond League trophy in the women’s pole vault

Commonwealth Games champion in Birmingham and third at the World Championships in Eugene 2022, Nina Kennedy won the diamond trophy in the women’s pole vault. The 25-year-old Australian showed her best form at the end of the season and won the first place at the final tournament in Zurich with 4.81m.

Olympic silver medalist and winner of three silver medals from the outdoor world championships, Sandi Morris, again remained in second position. The American, who also has two indoor world titles in her career, cleared 4.76m.

Third at the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade 2022 and at the European Outdoor Championships in Munich last month, Tina Sutej (Slovenia) was third in Zurich with 4.61m.

Nina Kennedy is an Australian athlete who holds the national record in the pole vault. She competed in the Tokyo 2022 Olympics and won gold in the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
