The Japanese tennis player Nao Hibino won the title of the WTA 250 Livesport Prague Open with a prize pool of more than 259,000 USD. In the final, she defeated the 4th-seeded Linda Noskova (Czech Republic) by 2-0 (6:4, 6:1) in 71 minutes.
In the second set at 4:1 and 30-0, the match was interrupted due to rain, after which it was played to the end.
Before the final, Nao Hibino had to finish her semi-final match against Jaqueline Cristian (Romania). She won by 2-1 (6:4, 6:7, 6:3). The match was interrupted four times on Sunday due to bad weather.
Thus, the Japanese won the third trophy in her career and the first since September 2019, while Linda Noskova failed to win the first title in her second final in a WTA tournament.
Later last night, Nao Hibino also won the title at the doubles final together with Oksana Kalashnikova (Georgia), defeating Quinn Gleason (USA) / Elixane Lechemia (france) by 2-1 (6:7, 7:5, 10:3)
