The Russian tennis player led by 4:1 in the first set against the 2023 Wimbledon champion, allowed a reversal to 4:5, but won the next three games for a successful 7:5. In the second set, she continued her streak with 4 new games for 4:0 and won 6:1.
Mirra Andreeva’s next opponent will be the winner of the match between Caroline Garcia (France) and Jasmine Paolini (Italy).
