Mirela Demireva won the gold at Udin Jump Development 2022

The silver medalist from Rio 2016 Olympics Mirela Demireva won a gold medal in the high jump at an international Udin Jump Development in the Italian city of Udine.

The Bulgarian athlete achieved success with achievement of 1.90 m in the first attempt. Mirela Demireva made three unsuccessful attempts at 1.97 m, which is three centimeters less than her personal best.

Finland’s athlete Ella Junnila was second with 1.88 m. The third was Lia Apostolovski with 1.86 m.

The Ukrainian high jumper Yuliya Levchenko, who was the favorite of the event, was fourth with 1.85 m

In the men’s event, the winner was Ilya Ivanyuk from Russia with 2.29 m.
