UFC flyweights Miranda Maverick and Shanna Young are getting another shot. The two will fight at the UFC Fight Night 214 event, which will take place on November 5, possibly in Las Vegas. Their fight was supposed to take place last weekend, but Shanna Young ended up in hospital and the match fell through at the last minute.

Miranda Maverick has a personal MMA record of 10-4-0 (W-L-D). She last beat Sabina Mazo at UFC Fight Night 203 – Santos vs. Ankalaev in March via rear-naked choke submission. Thus, she stopped a 2-game losing streak. In 2019, she won the Invicta flyweight tournament.

Shanna Young, for herpart, has a personal MMA record of 8-4-0 (W-L-D). In her last fight, she defeated Gina Mazany at the UFC on ESPN 35 – Font vs. Vera in April and stopped a 2-game losing streak. Shanna Young is a former KOTC Bantamweight Champion.
