Five-time Olympic sprint gold medalist Elaine Thompson-Herah finished second in the 200m in Florida. The Jamaican athlete, who is a two-time Olympic champion in the event, achieved a result of 23.23 sec (1.8 m/s).
Elaine Thompson-Herah, who also won the 200m title at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham last year, finished behind American Melissa Jefferson, who clocked 23.02 sec at the 2023 Tom Jones Memorial Invitational meeting in Florida.
