The women’s soccer team of Melbourne City won the derby match of the Australian A-League women versus the visitors of Sydney with 2-1. Rhianna Pollicina and Holly Christina Mcnamara scored for the hosts in the first half, while Princess Ibini returned one goal for Sydney at the end of the match.
Both teams are leaders in the standing of the Australian A-League women, as Sydney is on the top with 29 29 points and Melbourne City is second with 27 points but also a match less.
