It took less than two hours for the new champion to win her first WTA tournament title. She was out of the main draw after losing to Anna Siskova in a tiebreak in the third set in the final round of qualifying. But then she got a chance to fill the main circuit and today she is celebrating her trophy.

She becomes the first lucky loser to win a WTA tournament in four years. Previously, the achievement was recorded against the name of Coco Goff, who was 15 years old at the tournament in Linz.
