Maren Kirkeeide won the 15km individual start at the European Biathlon Championships

Maren Kirkeeide won the 15km individual start at the European Biathlon Championships. The Norwegian biathlete downed all the 20 targets, she finished with a time of 41:26.2 minutes.

Alina Stremous (Moldova) earned the silver also without missing a target, lagging 46.5 sec from the winner. The third place, again with clear shooting, went to Ema Kapustova (Slovakia) on 59.1 sec behind the winner.

Ida Lien (Norway) finished fourth, missing the medal for a while.

Karoline Erdal, Marthe Krakstad Johansen and Jenny Enodd all ended up a little behind on the honors zone.

Maren Hjelmeset Kirkeeide is a Norwegian biathlete, who became world champion in the 6km sprint at the 2022 Junior Biathlon World Championships in Soldier Hollow in February 2022.
