Manchester United WFC overturned Aston Villa WFC to win their visitor’s match by 3-2 (1-2) and kept its top position in the standings of England’s Women’s Super League.

Rachel Daly scored twice for Aston Villa in the first half in the 9th and 37th minutes, while Leah Galton scored for Manchester United WFC to take the lead by 2-1. Nikita Parris equalized in the 62nd minute and the match was running draw until the 92nd minute when Millie Turner scored after the assistance of Katie Zelem for 3-2 and Manchester United WFC succeeded to take the victory and the 3 points.

Manchester United WFC is the leader in the standings of the England’s Women’s Super League with 47 points, followed by
Manchester City WFC with 41 points but 1 match less and Chelsea Women with 40 points and 3 matches less.

Manchester United WFC will host Tottenham Hotspur Women on May 7, while Aston Villa WFC will visit Reading Women.
